Olwen and George Warren welcome you to their beautiful house and garden in the picturesque village of Shere in the heart of the Surrey Hills. Established in 1987, Cherry Trees B&B can offer accommodation in a holiday cottage, as well as bed and breakfast within the main house. Having travelled widely themselves, George and Olwen can assure all their guests a relaxed and comfortable stay.
A quintessential English village, Shere is situated below the North Down’s and the Pilgrim’s Way in a designated area of outstanding natural beauty. It is the perfect base for walking, mountain biking, cycling, bird watching, fishing and horse riding to explore the glories of the North Downs.
Positioned six miles from both Guildford and Dorking, Shere is only 27 miles from central London and a 45 minute journey to the south coast. Both Guildford and Dorking are excellent cultural and shopping centres, with main line stations to London as well as direct buses to and from Shere.
Within easy walking distance of Cherry Trees, there are two excellent pubs serving food all day, a first class restaurant (Kinghams) literally next door, and traditional English Tea Shop. The village also boasts a 12th century church as well as a variety of shops
